Longest Wave on the Earth

As we think the longest wave in the earth does not occur in a sea, it is in a river. It occurs in Amazon River and the rivers around it. This wave is named Pororoca in a Tupi language which means "Great Destructive Noise". The wave comes up 12 feet height and it travels 800 kilometers in the island. It destroys every thing in its path. Even this waves is very dangerous , the Dare Devil Surfers loves it and they will be ready to surf at the time of the waves which is between Feb and March . This waves are generated by Atlantic Ocean.
