Pixar animation studios was individually started in 1956 before that they were in colaboration with disney.
Their first movie was in black and white in a way of scribbling ,
Pixar was developed by a 11 old men so it they were called as “ 11 old men team”.
First 2d animated movie was made by PIXAR.
First movie with sounds by PIXAR and Disney was SNOW WHITE in 1937.

I appreciate the efforts contributed to this website, but many facts on this site are not 100% correct. I'm sorry! I don't mean to be rude but pixar was originally part of Lucasfilm until bought by Steve Jobs (co founder of apple) in 1986. 'Toy Story' (1995) was the studio's first major animated hit. John Lasseter attended Cal Arts (set up by Walt Disney) where he was tought the art of disney animation by 3 members of 'the 9 old men' who were part of Walt Disney's original animation team.
